Etham Ashton Nickerson

May 19, 1997 - April 30, 2020

Etham was the light in so many people's lives. He brought joy and happiness into people's hearts when they felt as though they had nothing. Etham had such empathy for those less fortunate than him and was known as "Santa Clause" amongst many of his friends, as he would give away whatever belongings he thought they would like. He encouraged people to be creative and artistic, allowing them to paint on his canvases and add their own pizazz. He had the best humor and constantly made light of dark situations, allowing people to feel comfortable in his presence. He gave everyone a second chance and saw the good in so many people no matter their situations. It seemed like his one goal in life was to make others happy. He is and forever will be loved deeply by his family and his friends. Through his acts of true kindness and compassion we are proud that he was part of our family.

Etham is survived by his Mother, Sharon; Father, Ashton; as well as his Sisters, Emma and Hannah. He is predeceased by his sister Sarah.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked if donations could please be made in Etham's name to Street Ties Youth Outreach, 4928 - 51 Street, Red Deer, AB, T4N 2A7.

A private family service is to be held, with a Celebration of Etham's life to take place at a later date due to current restrictions.
