We are all grieving, remembering our special memories of our Mom, Grandma, Great grandma, Auntie and Friend.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Doris Fisher (Keith), Margaret (Ron) Westergreen; her stepson, Steve (Bonnie) McMillen. Frances was so proud of each of her six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren: Jody (Zobedia) Fisher, their children Linda, Bella and Victoria; Miranda Kanngiesser and her children, Alyssa and Brett; Rhonda Pattison and girls Kaily and Shelby; Sarah Westergreen (Jason Busat) her daughters, Emma Fedorak, Brooklyn Moores and Katelyn Spatt; Kevin Westergreen (Amanda Semeniuk) their children, Autumn and Korbyn; Grand daughter Josephine McMillen and numerous nieces & nephews.

Frances & Bruce resided in Lacombe and enjoyed their community. They were active in bowling leagues in Ponoka & Lacombe. Also, Frances loved her bingo nights. In her later years she did not leave Lacombe to play bingo, she would be found at the Legion Bingo on Monday nights, where friendships were created and she will be remembered. Frances loved to enjoy the famers markers to shop for pie, cookies and laugh with friends. Many friendships were created, and she will be missed.
Frances enjoyed watching baseball, hockey over the years. Frances had been very busy travelling to her grandchildren’s activities at the rink, ball diamonds, dance studio and cheerleading in her earlier years.
Time was spent in her backyard sitting in the shade of the trees admiring the beautiful flower beds and listening to the birds. A favorite time was driving in the country with her husband to take in the nature.
Frances worked at Juniper Lodge for 26 years and continued to work in restaurants throughout her life as a cook. After leaving Juniper, she spent several years at Motor Inn, and later Gus’s Corner until her retirement at 62 years after a knee surgery. Frances will always be knowns for her smile, her grandma hugs and her love for Bruce, her daughters and family. A visit from the little ones always warmed up France’s heart.
Funeral Service will be held at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and the interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Ponoka, at 2:30 PM.
