Frank Edward Hibbard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis “Frank” Edward Hibbard, peacefully at Lacombe Hospital Palliative Care on September 17, 2025 in his 92nd year.

Survived by his beloved wife of nearly 68 years, Kathleen “Kay”, his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Frank was a gentle, wise and caring man.  He was a quiet man who didn’t say much, but when he did, you would stop whatever you were doing, because you knew his words held the kind of wisdom that would stay with you.  

He was a wonderful provider and a hard worker who enjoyed every single day of his 39 years with Bell Canada.  Even after retirement he would putter for hours on end around their little piece of heaven on Manitoulin Island.  

He was proud of his family and was always ready to go watch a ball game, pick grandkids up from school or make an excel spreadsheet of some schedule he thought we would need.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and quiet strength.  

He will be dearly missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
