Gary Gerald Boyd

Gary Gerald Boyd, beloved father, passed away at his home in Clive, Alberta October, 26th, 2023 at the age of 76.

Gary will be lovingly remembered by his four Children; Gary Jay (Tara) Boyd, Jeff (Ming) Boyd, James Boyd and Janet (Paul) Boyd/Hunter and his grandchildren Jordan, Kianna, Dexter, Colten and Ruben. Gary is also survived by his siblings Sharynne (Richard) Thomas, Mary Jean Voll and Scott (Donna) Boyd as well as his numerous nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers. Gary was predeceased by his wife Robin Adair Boyd, his parents Gerald (Buster) and Mabel Boyd and brother in-law Roger Voll.

Gary was born on March 29th, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta and grew up with his family in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. He was the second of four children and in his youth he enjoyed hunting, scouts and playing hockey. He married his wife Robin Cole March of 1971 and they raised their four children following the oil patch life in Alberta. He enjoyed family trips with camper and boat, hunting and a good old western movie. Gary dedicated his life to his family and was a successful oilman in Alberta and Saskatchewan for 55 years. He will truly be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clive Community Hall Nov 18, 2023 at 1pm.
