Gerald Edward Jaffray

It is with great sadness the family of Jerry Jaffray share his passing on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the age of 84 years.

Gerald Edward Jaffray was born July 30, 1938 in Rimbey Alberta.  He is survived by his wife, Muriam; sons, Darcy (Cheryl), Brian (Corinne), Dean (Tammy); and 7 grandkids and 11 great grandkids; as well as extended family and dear friends.

Jerry worked several oilfield jobs including rigs and working 35 years for Quinn in several different positions before his retirement.  After retirement he enjoyed several bus tours, mystery tours, fishing, and outhouse building.  He had more fun painting rocks to give to people or leave for others to find.  Once the job was all done, he enjoyed sneaking off to get a scoop or two of ice cream.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Bentley Cemetery.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Luncheon to be held at the Sylvan Lake Legion (4916 50 Ave) on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship and memories.
