Harold (Hal) Edgar Obituary

It is with profound sadness the Edgar family wishes to announce the unexpected, tragic passing of their husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, son in law, brother in law, and friend, Hal on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at the age of 40.

Hal blessed his parents Jim and Joan when he came into the world two months early on December 18, 1979 in Red Deer.  From the day his life began he touched the hearts and lives of everyone around him.  Hal grew up west of Red Deer on the family farm on Hwy 11A and became a farmer himself, farming with his dad, Jim up until and including the day of his passing. Hal married the love of his life, Bridey, on November 24, 2007 in Red Deer.  Up until his passing, Hal and Bridey were happily raising their 2 incredible sons Tresten (11) and Tiler (9), both of whom were the apples of their fathers eye.  Hal’s passions for cars, motorcycles, the great outdoors and farming were interwoven into his family and the life they lead with him on a daily basis.  Hal was a man of great integrity and a loyal friend to those who had the pleasure of having him be a part of their lives.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, partaking of simple pleasures like watching tv to more exciting ones like being out at the tent in the deep woods. He seldom missed the opportunity to do things with those he loved. Hal found his eternal peace safe in the arms of Jesus when he died enjoying an evening ride on his motorcycle which he loved to ride.

Hal is survived by his loving wife Bridey and their two sons Tresten and Tiler ; Parents Jim and Joan Edgar, Sister Tracey Tirpak  (Jeff) and their children Zander and Evelyn as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
