Hennie (Kampman) Wagenaar Obituary

Our Mom and Oma entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Hennie was born January 3rd, 1931 in Vroomshoop, The Netherlands, second oldest of 11 children.  The family immigrated to Southern Alberta in 1950, where she met and married her husband, Wiebe Wagenaar in 1955, built their house and raised their five children in a strong Christian home that was filled with love and laughter.  Hennie and Wiebe started Wagenaar’s Moving in 1968, that kept them extremely busy, with Hennie being secretary, book-keeper  Unselfishly, Hennie put the needs of her family before hers and was an active member of the Christian Reformed Church.

Hennie was pre-deceased by her husband, Wiebe on April 4th, 2015, her parents, Albert and Hendrikja Kampman, 4 brothers, Jan, Williem, Leo and Henk and son-in-law, Barry.

She will be missed by her children, John (Florence), Rita (Barry), Albert (Karen), Robert (Sonya) and Jennifer (Nathan). 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, her surviving siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
