It is with great sorrow that the family would like to announce the passing of Herbert William Pattison on June 18, 2025. Herb was a very loving and caring Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.

He was also predeceased by his father, William Pattison in 1964; his mother, Mabel Pattison in 1983; and his brother, James (Jim) Pattison 2023. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Villadsen (Terry); and his grandchildren, Dillon (Courtney) and Chantel (Ken). He is also survived by his sister, Gladys (Harold) Good.
Herb was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on May 15, 1930, and raised east of Lacombe in the Chigwell area, on the family farm. Herb gave his life to God in his teen years, to whom he was true through out his life. The family sold the farm in 1955 and moved to Lacombe.
Herb worked for a hardware company in Wetaskiwin, in his 20's he would make a point of comings home every weekend. He met the love of his life, Lois Sawyer on a weekend home. Herb and Lois were married on September 17, 1960.
In 1969 he received a position with the new Hudson’s Bay Company in Red Deer. He worked for the Bay for 27 years. That same year they moved to Red Deer, and a year later they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Heather in 1970.
Herb will be loving remembered for his kindness, patience, and love he showed to all.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Connie and Pat at Extended Care for their love and attention, and a grateful thank you to Harold and Gladys Good for their unconditional love, support and guidance during this time.
