Homer Roy

Mr. Joseph "Homer" Roy of Lacombe, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the age of 76 years.  No formal funeral service will be held at this time.

Memorial donations in honour of Homer may be directed to the Alberta Fish and Game Association, 13045-156 Street NW, Edmonton AB T5V 0A2, or to any charitable organization which cares for nature or wildlife, which Homer so deeply loved.

You never said you were leaving
you didn’t say goodbye.

Our longing for just one more
moment with you, will likely never
subside.

How could we have known that day
how our lives would forever be changed?
In an instant we went from planning,
to wishing everything had stayed the same.

We know your love for us was endless,
be sure your job here was well done.
Your wife, your kids, your grandbabies,
your love will live on in each one.

Why God decided to take you, none
of us will know why.
So for now we’ll hold onto our
memories, as we say our final goodbye.
