Irene Nora Belich (Popowich)
January 12 1934- September 27 2021
Irene was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and settled in the Red Deer area with her mother, father, brother and 2 sisters. She graduated from nursing school in 1956 from U.A.H. Irene loved being a nurse, and was even able to live and work in Hawaii. In 1961, she set aside her extensive nursing career and married the love of her life, Percy Belich. Together they created a beautiful family, loving home and a successful farm. She was known as Grama to many and always had lots of love to share. Irene is predeceased by her husband Percy, mother, father, brother Jack, and sister Laurene. She is survived by her youngest sister, Sandy (Steve), daughter Norana (John) and son Stewart (Cindy). Grandchildren, Madison (Arseni), Jordan (Breanna), Kris (Rachel), Mike, Brittany (Dan) and Aysia. Great-Grandchildren Mason, Caeden, Jaycie, Avery, Drew, Bryn and Reese. We love you, Grama. You're home now.
"My children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
I have loved you with an everlasting love and held you in my heart.
Always, now and for eternity"
