Irene Evelyn (Sorensen) Davidson

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 7:00 a.m., at the age of 77. She was born on September 6, 1947, in Camrose, Alberta.

Irene is survived by her two sons, Neal Davidson and Darrell (Stephanie) Davidson; one granddaughter, Sayvrie Davidson; and two grandsons, Reagan and Kaemon Davidson. She is also survived by her brothers, Rylan Sorensen and Earle (Mary Ellen) Sorensen; her sister, Sylvia; and her sister-in-law, Oonagh Davidson.

She leaves behind ten nephews and their spouses, five nieces and their spouses, residing across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Irene is also survived by eleven cousins in Canada and the United States, and ten cousins in Denmark.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Norman, in May 2010; her father, John Sorensen, in June 1992; her mother, Ruby Sorensen, in 2011; her sister-in-law, Marjorie (Harry) Klemmensen, in 2008; and her brother-in-law, Donald Davidson.

At the age of nine, Irene chose to embrace Christ as her Savior, guide, and friend. Throughout her life, she was deeply grateful for the companionship of many cherished friends.

A funeral service for Irene will be held at the Lacombe Memorial Centre, 5214 50 Ave, Lacombe, AB T4L 0B6, on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 1:00pm.
