Jade Ellen Schewalje, 13, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Rimbey, Alberta.
Jade, lovingly known as “Bug” to those closest to her, was a bright and unforgettable soul who brought both fire and warmth into the lives of those around her. She was known for her sassy spirit and her deeply loving heart. She had a special love for the color red, a perfect reflection of her bold and vibrant personality. Above all, Jade shared a deeply cherished bond with Papa, who held a very special place in her heart.
Jade is lovingly remembered by her mother, Melyssa Schewalje; her siblings, Nevaeh Delcourt, Savanah Moorman, Michael Lawless, and Hadley Lawless; along with family and friends who will carry her memory forward.
Though her time was far too short, Jade’s impact was lasting. Her spark will stay with us always.
