James Wilfred Slack

Mr. James Slack of Lacombe, Alberta passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 53 years.

Jim was born on January 3, 1970 to parents Wilfred and Marie Slack.  He was a great son, brother and uncle.  Jim enjoyed coffeeing with numerous friends and also liked to go fishing in his early years.  He was his mother's main caregiver right up until the day of his passing.

Jim was predeceased by his father, Wilfred; and is survived by his mother, Marie; siblings, Earl (Joanne), John, Elaine (Phil) and Shelley; along with numerous nieces and nephews and good friends.  Jim's support worker, Sandy, was an especially treasured friend.  He will be missed by all who cared for him.

The family held a private viewing and gathering at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, and a luncheon at the family home.

The family requests no flowers nor memorial donations at this time.
