Janice Elaine Kary (nee Watson)  

September 27, 1950 - October 6, 2023

A beloved wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. After a heroic battle over the last seven years, against 3 different types of cancer, Janice passed away on October 6th at the age of 73. She is finally pain free. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Val of 48 years; as well as her four children, Carmen Ebel (Gary Ebel), Cynthia Kary, Eric Kary, and Vanessa Kary, whom she was so proud of. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren, each having held a special place in her heart. Janice was incredibly happy to have met and hold her great-grandson, Henry, during her final battle. Her love for her family will forever be etched in their memories. Janice found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life and brightened the lives of those she knew. She was so grateful for the visits from friends and family, making new memories and reminiscing on the old times. She had a huge heart and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A big thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Lacombe Hospital, who were incredibly accommodating and made her final days as comfortable as possible.
