Janice Lee Schnurr (nee Farnsworth)

August 21, 1938 - July 16, 2020

We are sad to announce the passing of Janice Lee Farnsworth McPherson Schnurr, on July 16, 2020 in Lacombe, AB, surrounded by love. Janice was was born on August 21, 1938, in San Jose, California. She married Bruce McPherson on July 20, 1958 in Mountain View, California. They had five children and made their home in different places in the United States and Canada. Bruce McPherson passed away November 1971. Janice meet Bruce Schnurr and they were married August 8, 1976. He passed away October 2000.

Janice is predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Esther Farnsworth, her first husband Bruce McPherson her second husband Bruce Schnurr and one granddaughter . Surviving  are her brother Keith Farnsworth (Faye), children are Steven McPherson (Melinda), Caroline Sukow (Halbert), Art McPherson (Julie), Ken McPherson (Roxanne), Shane McPherson (Eva), Gene Schnurr (Marcella), Jes Findley (Glen), Mark Schnurr, Bob Schnurr (Zenta), Dean Chartrand, and Melanie Mellis, twenty-seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.  

In lieu of flowers, Mom would love donations to go to Mamawi Atosketan Native School.

Celebration of Janice’s life will be Monday, July 20 at 1:00 pm at College Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church.
