Jennifer, beloved daughter of the late John and Jean Wood of Lacombe, Alberta, loving Mom to Tyler and Caitlyn Cull, treasured sister to Larry, Barbara, Roger, and Peter, tragically lost her life in a single vehicle accident. Travelling in a wintry squall, she lost her way home.
Jen's greatest loves were Tyler, Caitlyn, and her furry friends! Being a Mom was her crowning achievement. A hard worker, she poured her energy and skills into her many jobs. She was the owner-operator of Bugaboos Thrift shop, a school bus driver, a caregiver in her role as an HCA at Hospitals and Senior homes, she owned a Janitorial service, and she was recently the Chapter Chair for the AUPE Chapter 11, Local 44. These were just a few of her many jobs, all done to provide her children with opportunities in life. As Jen would say, "Let's Get Er Done". She was a chauffeur, parent volunteer for school activities and sporting events, provided travel experiences for her children, and ensured that they received a post- secondary education.
Jen loved adventure- a good road trip, accelerating travel on a motorcycle, mountain trails on a skidoo, rough terrain on a quad, racing down hill on snow skis, water skiing, riding the rapids on a raft, forging mountain streams on horseback - what ever she did, she did with passion. And she shared this love with her children.
A selfless person, Jen was the friend and family member who showed up to offer support and help, when help was needed. Her generosity was to a fault. She was also a strong woman with a will of steel, an iron backbone, one who could speak her mind, and had a heart as soft as butter. Her nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends loved and respected her. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a GoFundMe that has been set up for Jennifer's children.
A Celebration of Life for Jennifer will be held in Rimbey on March 26, 2025 at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre from 1:00-3:00 pm.
A Video Recording of the Service will be available later in the day after the Celebration of Life.
