Jim passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2019, surrounded by family.  He is survived by his loving Children, Jaymie VanderVlugt (Rob), Calee, Summer, Georgia and Joelle; Aaron Williams (Lauren), Michelle Cleverley, Teanna, Camryn, Nolan; Shawn Moore (Kathy), Alexa, Elisha. Brother Bill Williams (Rose), Heather, Matt, Andy. Sisters, Moira Ellen (Tim) Scott, Spencer; Margaret Williams, Sarah, Shae, Taylor; Shona Sponholz, Tyler, Apryl, Amity, Micheal, as well as many cousins and friends.  Jim is predeceased by his Parents, Jean and Lawrence Williams.

Jim was born in Lacombe, grew up in the area and was involved in many different sports.  He later went off to N.A.I.T. and got his Gas Technology Diploma.  He worked in Calgary for many years in the field, later he moved back home and worked alongside his brother Bill for 18 years as service manager at OK Tire in Lacombe.  Jim loved to golf whether it be with his best friends or by himself, he loved to be on the golf course.  Jim was the most amazing dad / papa to “his girls”, he visited them most every day.  Spending time with them brought him so much joy.  Jim loved his Family and Friends so very much, as they loved him.  He was a truly amazing man who will be missed always.

A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held on Friday, December 06, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A. Lacombe, Alberta.
