 Joesphine "Jody" Karen (Sztym) Jeffcott

1958 - 2022

You gave us the world put it right at our feet and with her at our side there is nothing we cannot beat. You were a woman who taught us to never lose sight. Though times may seem helpless you taught us to fight. You have shown us how through time of much sorrow to look to the future and new days of tomorrow. Even though times may be hard and all we feel is pain remember this too shall pass, even the clouds and rain. So it is with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes that we lay her down to rest and say our last bye for now. We love you. Rest in peace.

Jody is survived by her loving husband Len Jeffcott, Son Ray Jeffcott (Christine), their children Dylan and Danika. Daughter Lisa Bratland (Tanner), their children Kelty (son Greyson), Seth, and Karter.

Jody is predeceased by her dad Joe Sztym, Mom Karen (Block) Sztym, and Uncle Bob Campbell.

Jody was born in Rimbey, raised in the Leslieville area most of her life. She met her husband at the age of 17. Lived in Regina, Sask. They married April 2, 1977. Had their first child a son, June 24 1977. Had their second child a daughter, May 2, 1980. Jody and Len decided to take over Jody’s family farm and moved back to Alberta July 1986 where she lived her best life. Jody loved gardening, her extremely beautiful flower bed, crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, coloring and anything to do with outdoors. Jody loved being with her immediate family at all times. She was so proud of her grandchildren. Jody never stopped. She was always doing something. Jody was the matriarch of her family. She was an incredible cook, beautiful friend and all around hero to everyone.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
