TURNBULL  Joyce Eleanor

July 27, 1930 – August 19, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Joyce Eleanor Turnbull wish to announce her passing on August 19th, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her home in Bentley at the age of 93.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents Ervin and Agnes Palmer,  her husband David Dobson Turnbull, an infant son David John Turnbull, and infant grandson Lucas Turnbull.

Joyce also had siblings that were a big part of her life. She is predeceased by 3 sisters Francis ( Albert), Lucille ( Pat), Carol and brother Derald ( Kathy) She is survived by her brother in-law Reiny McKean.

She is survived by her loving children Rodney Turnbull ( Laverne), Bradley Turnbull, Janice Northcott ( Brent) and Randy Turnbull. Her grandchildren Jeri-Jay, Kandace ( Ian), Angie ( Kix) Jordi ( Scott), Meagan ( Jesse), Caitlyn ( Brandon), Jeff, and Nikki ( Zane). Joyce also had 3 Great Grandchildren who she adored her, "Little Treasures" Nash and Jackson and Gwendolyn. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a strong loving wife, mother, grandmother and GG. Throughout her life her family admired her strong will and feistiness. She never backed down from a challenge and god knows the world handed her many. She was always up for a coffee and visit and welcomed many people into her home over the years. Her family was her pride and joy, always in her heart and mind. She never missed a beat to say something inappropriate and hilarious. Her smile would light up a room when any of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren would walk in. Every time we left we would always says " I love you" she would reply "I love you more."

At her request there will be no funeral.
