The family of Joyce Marie Whitecotton announce with much sorrow the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Our mother was a real trooper over the last 5 years after a stroke left her in a wheelchair. Joyce was born July 2nd 1929 in Lacombe AB to Roy and Lucille Burton. She married Roy Whitecotton on July 8th 1948 where they farmed and raised 3 children whom she is survived by: Linda (Conrad) Hueppelsheuser, Jane (Howard) Thesen and Don (Debra Smith) Whitecotton. Joyce was proud of her 9 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Mom was predeceased by her husband Roy in 2016 and her grandson Brian in 2002.

A special thank you to the staff at the Villa Marie Covenant Care, for her exceptional care, Mom loved each and every one of you.
