Judy Adamson left this earthly life on December 17, 2025 to begin her eternal life with her heavenly father. She was 75 years of age.
Judy was born September 29th, 1950 in Stettler, AB to her parents James Herbert DeGraff and Bernice Irene DeGraff (née Ewing). One of five siblings, she grew up in the area of Gull Lake, before moving at the age of thirteen to live with her mother's cousin. At age seventeen, she moved to Calgary where her son James would later be born. She and her son moved to Boyle, where her brother Larry lived. While living in Boyle, Judy would have her next son, Chris.
Judy and her sons then moved to Lacombe so she could be closer to her father. There, she completed her 12th grade before moving with her boys to Olds to obtain her horticulture diploma at Olds College. In 1986, she began working for the City of Red Deer Parks Department as the City Weed Inspector, where she continued to work until 2015, retiring after suffering two strokes.
Judy is predeceased by her parents Jim and Bernice DeGraff, her brothers William (Dale) and John and her sister Jacqueline (Jacky). She is survived by her eldest brother Larry, her sons James and Chris, her daughter-in-law Lucy and her grandsons Joshua and Jeremy.
“Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.” Isaiah 57:2
Judy is home now.
A memorial will be planned for January and details will be shared closer to that time.
