Kandall, Judy Ann

January 23, 1955 – March 15, 2024

 

Judy Ann Kandall, of Mirror, AB, passed away at the age of 69 years in Lacombe, AB, after a short, brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Judy is survived by her family: her son, Jonathon Bakos and wife April, husband Kevin Boyce, her father and stepmom, Sandy and Gloria Kandall, sisters, Cathy (Bob) Miller, Joyce (Allen) Jemson, Correna (Glenn) Cook, and numerous relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her mother, Connie Ray, and her brother, Jim Kandall, and is reunited with them now.

Judy had a great love of reading, and was rarely seen without a book. Her best days were spent sitting outside her home in Mirror, reading a book and enjoying some sunshine. She also deeply loved her cats, and raised a number of them over her lifetime.

The family is grateful to the people of the community of Mirror for their support during Judy’s time there.

Rest easy now, Judy. With love, from your family.

A Memorial service will be held for Judy at 2 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Mirror Alliance Church, Mirror, AB
