Peter Stephen Kenneth Boyko passed away on September 30, 2021at the age of 75 at the Royal Alexandra hospital with his beloved wife of 51 years, Donna and daughter Bethani by his side.
Born to Peter and Olga Boyko in Winnipeg June 6, 1946, he grew up in Oak Bank, MB, later moving with his family to Winnipeg. In 1966, he married Sylvia (Severtson)of Minot, ND, but then lost her to a tragic accident a year later. He found love again while on a trip to Alberta, where he met Donna (Matthews) from Kelowna BC. They were married in 1970 and made a home in Winnipeg where they started their family. Ken owned and operated a small, successful delivery company for several years. In 1985 Ken and Donna moved to Lacombe AB where they continued to raise their family.
Ken was devoted to his family and his faith. He had a great love for kids and music. He would often say that his children were his greatest accomplishment. He took many opportunities to remind each one of their strengths as individuals and how proud he was of their achievements.
Ken loved having guests stop and and embraced the opportunity to share his home with friends, family, and even strangers. He is remembered by those he met for his kindness, generosity, good will and his love of the Lord. Ken found much joy in sharing his love of Jesus with others.
Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife Donna, his sons, daughter and grandchildren: Scott & Darlene Boyko (Chantal, Greyson & Rylon), Joshua and Rachel Boyko (Judah & Reuben) Chris and Bethani (Boyko) Sutherland, Jarrod and Nina Boyko (Jericho), and Jesse Boyko.
He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Donald Boyko, sister Marilyn Cameron (Boyko) and wife Sylvia Boyko (Severtson).
