Larry Phillip Barrett Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Phillip Barrett of Lacombe Alberta wish to announce he passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on November 9, 2024, at the age of 81.


Larry is survived by his wife Magaret Barrett; his children, Steven (Laurie) Barrett, Delores Barrett (Steve Kossa) and Nadine (Andrew Spindler); his sister, Bonnie (Harry Stalker); his grandchildren, Amanda Bordian, Jeffrey Barrett (Tana Mae), Lorissa Barrett (Chris), Crystal Barrett, Susan Gerth, Devin Riddle (Emily), Michael Barrett, Brandon Barrett (Jenna), Jennifer Mulder, Brianne Riddle (Cody), Carla Spindler (Jeff); his 27 great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and an abundance of friends.


Larry is predeceased by, his parents, 5 of his siblings and his granddaughter, Laura Lee Anne Gerth.


Larry was devoted to his faith in God and was a humble man. He lived a life of service to others; he loved his family with all his heart. Some of his favorite things to do were to go camping and spending time with his family.


A Celebration of Life will be held, and the date will be announced later.
