Linda (Killeen) Nicholson

It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Linda L. Nicholson, at the age of 72 years, on February 18, 2026 in Lacombe, AB, with her partner Kevin by her side.

Linda’s early years were spent in Ponoka, AB.  She graduated from psychiatric nursing in 1975 and had a long career as a respected therapist in community mental health.

She moved to Alix, AB in 2008, with Kevin joining her shortly after.  Together they enjoyed 15 years of happiness in their rural community, making many meaningful friendships.

Linda was known as a wonderful cook, an ace backgammon and scrabble player, a lover of music and music festivals, and as a kind person with a generous heart.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her partner, Kevin Doran; brothers, George (Fern), and Larry (Annette); and many dear good friends.

No services are planned at this time.
