1946 - 2023

Linda passed away peacefully at the Innisfail Hospital on October 12, 2023 at the age of 76.

Linda was born in Kindersly, SK (25 minutes later than her twin sister Lorna) and at the young age of 5, the family moved from Mantario, SK, to Bentley, AB. She was one of six children born to David and Joyce Beechinor.

Linda took her schooling in Bentley, then moved to Edmonton, then to Fort McMurray where she resided for 5o years. In 2015 she moved to Sylvan Lake to be closer to family, where she resided until her passing.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Christine of Spruce Grove, her stepchildren Bonnie (Dale) of Fort McMurray, and Gordie (Susan) of Grand Prairie. Linda is survived by her three sisters, Donna (Victor) of Edmonton, Twin sister Lorna of Bentley, and Velvet of Saskatoon, SK, her two brothers Larry (Linda) of Kindersly, SK, and Barney (Melody) of Bentley. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces , nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Magas in 1987, Arthur (Bud) Pearson in 2011, and parents David and Joyce Beechinor.

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held at the Blindman Valley Agriculture Centre (Bentley Agriculture Centre), 5202 - 51st Street, Bentley, Alberta on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Interment to follow in the Bentley Cemetery.

The family would like to take the opportunity to Thank the Innisfail Hospital and Care Centre - Dr. Henry and Linda's Care Team for their care and compassion they showed Linda and her family.

The Celebration of Life will be recorded and will be available to view on this site after it's completion.
