Lorne Flewelling

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorne Flewelling on October 24, 2025, at 87 years young, with his family by his side.

Lorne will be remembered with love and deeply missed by his wife of 33 years Donna Hemeyer; Heather (Chad) Kanngiesser, Gavin & Trisha Kanngiesser, Kelita Kanngiesser and Nic Falconer, Taryn Kanngiesser; Brent (Carey) Flewelling, Kavan, Aubrie and Landon; Rodney (Brooks) Flewelling, Blake, Chance and Quinn; Wayne Hemeyer, Aaron Hemeyer, Dylan Disberry and Laura Suggett, Jaden Hemeyer, Jason Hemeyer; Jackie Hemeyer, Jordan (Melissa) Hemeyer-Janke; Jesse (Mariah) Andrus; Michaela (Brogan) Cassidy, and 9.5 great grandchildren.

Lorne is survived by his sisters Doris Johnston and Margaret (Howard) Woodrow, his brother Ross Flewelling along with sisters-in-laws Rosemarie Banda and Marjorie Pool. Lorne was predeceased by his first wife Jane (Banda) Flewelling.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday November 03, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Ponoka Stagecoach 5616 39 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J 1J8
