Lorraine Bonnita (Bryan) Schmidt

It is with great sadness the family of Lorraine Schmidt are announcing her passing.

In her last days she told her family she was needed elsewhere. Lorraine was an angel here and now she will be watching over us.

Lorraine leaves to mourn the love of her life Gord; her beautiful children:  Allen (Terri), Vicky (Chris); her grandchildren: Brody, Kaiden, Lyric, and Destiny; her parents: Dean and Jean; brothers: Shane and Steve; her life long best friends,  Patti and Linda.

We are grateful for her strength and wisdom. She was a kind and beautiful woman who was always excited and going out of her way to help family, friends and strangers.  

AFTERGLOW

 I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,

I’d like to leave an afterglow

 of smiles when life is done.

 I’d like to leave an echo whispering

 softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times

 and bright and sunny days.

 I’d like the tears of those who grieve,

 to dry before the sun of happy memories

 that I leave behind when life is done.
