Margaret "Marg" Elizabeth (Stenerson) Dewald

Margaret Elizabeth Dewald (nee Stenerson) 

June 15, 1936 to July 2, 2021

The family of Margaret Dewald wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marg passed away peacefully in the Lacombe Palliative Care surrounded by her family at the age of 85. Marg is survived by her four children Brenda, Brian (Jodi), David, Darren (Janet), grandchildren Jeremy (Richelle), Nicholas, Keltie, Mattie, Thomas, Lucas, Jacob and Avery and great-grandchildren Zane, Grady and Emmett. Marg is also survived by her five siblings Kathleen, Alice, Ken, Linda and Donald. Marg was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews as well as an abundance of lifelong friends. 

Marg is predeceased by her parents Charles and Dorothy Stenerson and her loving husband Harold whom she married in 1957. 

Marg was born is Stettler and raised in Bashaw and later found her lifelong community in Alix where she participated in many community events and charities and created many important friendships. 

Marg will be remembered for her kind heart, passion for her community and devotion to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

A celebration of Marg’s life will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 1:00 pm at the Alix Community Hall.
