It is with deep sadness that the family of Marilyn Taylor announces her passing on May 5, 2025.

Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shauna (Duane) Bjorklund and Ryan (Melissa) Taylor; her cherished grandsons, Ryken Bjorklund, Simon Taylor, and Finn Taylor; her beloved mother, Vera Lacey; and her siblings, Myrna (Brian) Gill, Debbie (Brian) Williams, Keith (Marian) Lacey, Ken Lacey, and Brian (Mindy) Lacey. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless lifelong friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Frank Lacey.

Marilyn was known for her vibrant spirit, unwavering kindness, and deep dedication to her family and friends.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life—fittingly titled “Happy Hour”—will be held on Friday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m., at the Lacombe Memorial Centre. All who knew her are encouraged to attend and share memories.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Unit 32 at Red Deer Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.
