Marilyn Joy (Fouracre) de Bruijn

The world lost a wonderful person on Sunday, May 31, 2026 and we will never be the same without Marilyn de Bruijn in our lives.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Randy (Paula), Russ (Janet), Bert (Rose), Esther, Dave, Monica (Darren), Sherisse (Sam); her grandchildren, Christiana (Manny), James (Noemi), Magan, Lawrence, Lex, Andy, Nico, Ellis, Owen, Charlette, Zoe, Nigel, Josh, Tatiyana, Joshua, and Annabelle; her great grandchildren, Bennet, Travis, Finnley, and Owen. Also survived by her sister Brenda Batchelar.  Marilyn is predeceased by her beloved husband Bert; and her parents Victor and Wilma "Grace".

Special thanks to the staff at Taylor View Towers in Red Deer.  We thank you so much for all the love and care you gave her.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Wilson's Funeral Chapel from 10 - 11am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe, AB on Wednesday, June10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Lacombe Fairview Cemetery.

A video recording of the funeral and graveside service will be made available on this website shortly following the conclusion of these services.
