Obituary
In Loving Memory – On September 2, 2023, Michael (Mike) Dibbelt passed away at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.
Mike was born in Berlin. Germany on September 12, 1953 and immigrated to Canada with his family as a child.
Mike made his home in Red Deer as a young adult and later in Blackfalds with his loving wife Anne.
He loved to be outside, on his motorcycle, camping or just walking through the woods. Mike and Anne spent many hours in their yard enjoying their flowers and many berry bushes.
He spent 37 years working at Roland Michener Centre in Red Deer where he was loved by many as he was such a gentle man.
Anne would like to thank everyone who came to visit Mike while he was in the Lacombe Hospital for the last month. And also a warm thank you for the wonderful care provided by the staff at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre.
He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
