Murray was born on October 15, 1959 in St. Thomas, Ontario. The family moved to Lacombe shortly after and his brother Brian was born in 1961. The family then moved to Edmonton, Alberta and stayed until 1963 when they returned back to Lacombe. Murray moved to Kelowna, British Columbia in the 80’s where he worked and met his wife Mona. Murray and Mona returned to Lacombe and started a family, having two children Brandon and Taryn. Murray then moved to Airdrie, Alberta where he resided until his passing.

Murray is survived by his Son Brandon (Megan) and Daughter Taryn (Jared); his Mother Dorothy; Brother Brian (Kathy); Nieces Sydni, Chenise and Nephew Brandt. Murray is predeceased by his Father George and Best Friend (Brother) Dale Gray.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday. October 28, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Lacombe Memorial Centre (LMC)
