Norris Rangen Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Norris Rangen on the 21st of April, 2024 at the Rimbey Hospital & Care Centre.
Norris farmed most of his life north of Leslieville and raised his family there. After the death of his wife, Margaret, he reunited with his high school sweetheart, Gail Casey, and they resided in the Gimlet Community. They continued to farm the land together for many years until Norris was not able to continue farming any longer, and was admitted to long term care. For Norris, his love for animals filled his life, horses being his favourite, as well as having a special fondness for calves and colts.
Norris was predeceased by his parents, John and Clara Rangen; wife, Margaret; two sons, Quinton and Curtis. He is survived by his partner, Gail; two sons, Jonathan and Murray; one sister, Elaine; two granddaughters, Shay-Ann and Tristen; as well as numerous extended family and dear friends.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Leslieville Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer Society of Canada at alzheimer.ca
