Patricia Ann Johnson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Rimbey Hospital Long Term Care Centre at the age of 88 years.

Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Clement Johnson; her grandson, Devin Johnson; and her brother-in-law, John Listhaeghe.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Richard and Beatrice Johnson; Rachelle and Jim Mulek; Michel (Mike) Johnson; Jackie and Dave Jarvis; and Paul Johnson. Pat is also survived by her sister, Barb Listhaeghe; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Donna Gibbons; and her sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Tom Marr. She leaves behind a cherished legacy of twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.

Pat was devoted to her family and took great pride in being a homemaker, caring for her home and those she loved. She had a strong spirit of service and was actively involved in community organizations wherever she lived, including the Hospital Auxiliary, Legion Ladies, and the Catholic Women’s League. Pat especially enjoyed volunteering at the local Cancer Clinic.

Music was another passion she shared with her husband. Together they were members of a community choir for many years and had the wonderful opportunity to travel and perform throughout the Maritimes and in Europe. Pat also had a gift for gardening and was known for the beautiful flower gardens she created wherever she lived.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Patricia on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 5509–50 Street, Rimbey, Alberta.

Interment will take place in Bonnyville later this summer.

Pat will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to family, and the warmth she brought to every community she was part of. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
