Ralph Scarlett Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of Ralph Mackay Scarlett of Gull Lake wish to announce that he has unexpectedly passed away.

Ralph was born in Innisfail, Alberta and grew up on the farm with his brothers and sister near Innisfail. Ralph began his teaching career at the age of 18 in Bowden, moving on to Didsbury, Cremona, Carstairs and finally Bentley.  Upon his retirement from the teaching profession, he became a licensed realtor.

Throughout the years, Ralph enjoyed sports, but was an avid curler throughout his life, and continued to stay busy and active well into his eighties.

Ralph was very loved and will be missed dearly by his children Rod (Cheryl), Randy, Heather (Kevin) and Gillian, and grandchildren Caitlin, Reece, Mark, Ian, Nanami, Mina, William and Andrew. He is also survived by brothers Gordon (Joan), Glen and Russell (Myra), sisters-in-law Anne and Cheryl, as well as other extended family and friends.

Ralph was predeceased by his wife Diane and granddaughter Niina, as well as parents Tom and Ina, sister Eileen, and brothers, Ron, Jim and George.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 10, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Lincoln Hall (41319 AB-792, Lacombe County, AB T4L 2N3),
