Rick Cockshott

It is with sadness the family of Richard Cockshott wishes to announce his unexpected passing in Blackfalds, AB on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 57 years.  Richard is survived by his loving spouse, Sandra; children Tina, Cindy and Cody (Jessica); grandchildren, Trinity, Tanix, Coby, Chase and Myla; father, Don; mother, Beatrice; sister, Treena; niece, Katie; brother, Brian (Crys); as well as numerous friends and extended family.

Rick started his career working on the rigs, before becoming a truck driver.  He met Sandra while living in Coronation, AB and they have been together for over 27 years.  Together they moved to Joffre, AB in the fall of 2005.  Rick’s favourite things to do were going for road trips, visiting museums and spending time outside.  He loved old cars and big trucks, good home-cooked food and his pets.  His presence will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel (6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe).
