Bob was known as the mechanic and the guy with the fast car. He raced his car at the local track and even won a few trophies. Bob worked in a few different car dealerships as a mechanic even was a parts manager for a while. In 1967, the family moved to Carman where he tried his hand at working for a farmer. Bob enjoyed the farm life and stayed at a farm for 21 years.
1997 saw Bob and Shirley move to Alberta where he bought a business with his brother Rick. He retired in 2012 because his Parkinson’s was being more of a problem.
That started the winters in Yuma, Arizona. Bob became quite the shuffleboard fanatic and became very proficient at it. He also enjoyed mountain riding, so he bought a Jeep to go at least once a week. That was something Bob and Shirley enjoyed for 11 years.
