SERVICE
Robert (Bob) Eldon Service passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
Bob was born the third of four children, on January 13, 1957 in Shelburne, Ontario to Eldon and Muriel Service. He made his choice to serve God when he was 11 years old. He married Dawn Service née Sargeant on August 12, 1977 in Rimbey, Alberta.
In 1980, Bob and Dawn moved to Rimbey to start Bob’s lifetime dream of farming, there he farmed for 43 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Dawn; children Gregory (Michelle), Pamela (Jason), Tamara, and Vanesa; grandchildren, Annie, Jack, Drew, Molly, Ellie, Sofie, Avye and Seth; his siblings Ed (Jamie), Joyce, Herb (Hilda) as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Eldon, mother Muriel, father-in-law Roy, mother-in-law Muriel, sister-in-law Sandra Service née Kendrew, and brothers-in-law John Stewart, Lynn Cornell and Delbert Sargeant.
