Bob Creurer was a lover of life. He was the complete package. He was an artist, a painter. With expanded lenses to receive the world, he saw beauty and potential everywhere. Bob loved photography and nature, home renos and gardening; creating and sharing delicious food.
Bob’s artwork fills our hearts and feeds our spirits. He has taught and shared his art and his love of the arts in and around Lacombe for over 40 years. Bob loved music with passionate and exotic beats to paint and create to. He attended local house concerts and music in the park.
Bob loved people. Arriving at Bob’s house, you were always welcomed with smiles and big hugs. Bob’s home was a sanctuary. He built an environment where everyone could feel welcome, safe and treasured. AND WE DID. Bob loved to share stories of the Creurer Family businesses and legacy. John Deere, International, Tarus. Bob could carry healthy conversations ranging in topics of politics, religion, quantum physics, the universe. He also spent years researching genealogy of the CREURER and ROTH Family names.
Gardening was a way of life for Bob. He cared and tended his garden as a mother tends to the needs of her child. With devotion. Bob loved to share seeds, plants and flowers with neighbours, friends and family.
Bob’s family was his world. He was surrounded and wrapped in love and by the love of his family as he passed over. And we were so honoured to be there.
SPECIAL thanks to the Lacombe Home Care Nurses. Shannon, Adele, Ranelle, Megan, Josephine, Ana, Leanne, and Mark.

Live in each season as it passes, breath the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the Earth.

This is the recipe of life
said my mother
as she held me in her arms as I wept
think of those flowers you plant
in the garden each year
they will teach you
that people too
must wilt
fall
root
rise
in order to bloom
