On Tuesday, May 10, 2022 it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rod McLean of Bluffton, Alberta. He passed away peacefully at the age of 70 years.
Rod is survived by his loving family, his wife of 46 years Debra; daughters Candace (Dwayne), Crystal (Scott), Tammy (Regis); five grandchildren Alexis, Abby, Devon, Dylon, Jason; great granddaughter Octavia; two bothers Joe (Norma), James (Diana); two sisters Margaret (Ken), Etta (Larry); brother-in-law Miles (Joanne) and sisters-in-law Colleen and Sonja as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Harvey and Hazel; three brothers Don (Grace), Bill and Colin (Ada); two sisters Jessie (Leo), Alythea (Roger); brothers-in-law Ben, John; sister-in-law Cecelia; and grandson Arie.
A service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM with public visitation at 1:00 PM, at Zion Lutheran Church Rimbey with Pastor Mark officiating. Interment to follow at the Iola Fairview Cemetery for the immediate family.
