It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lloyd on December 15, 2020 at the age of 88. Lloyd was born in Killarney, Manitoba on August 16, 1932 to Samuel & Rena (Barber) Lyons.
Anyone who knew Lloyd knew him for his love of the outdoors and gardening, he spent much of his life in both. He had a patient gentle spirit, with a witty sense of humor, a kind heart and a love for family and friends. He spent his quiet time with a western theme of John Wayne, Wilf Carter, Zane Grey & Louis L’Amour.

Lloyd is survived by his three children; Sharon, Elwyn (Allison), Mike (Diana), 7 Grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren as well as Margaret’s five children; Darwin, Collin (Monique), Cherylee (Ross), Tammy (Dean), Tracey; 12 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Lloyd was preceded by lifelong best friend Margaret McCutcheon (2019), his sister Verne, and brothers; Andy, Russ, Ralph, Raymond, Kenny and Jack. His first wife Hilda Henderson (2000).
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our family would like to express their deep appreciation to the Management and Caregivers at Points West, Red Deer for the care they provided to Lloyd.

If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane,
I’d walk right up to Heaven
and bring you home again.
