Sandra Riepma Obituary

It is with great sadness, the family of Sandra Elaine Riepma (nee MacFie) announce her passing at the age of 61 in Lacombe, Alberta.

She is survived by her loving devoted spouse, Christopher Riepma; sons, Travis Prystae (Rhandi), Jason Prystae (Jayden); bonus son, Clayton Riepma; grandchildren, Shayla Prystae, Eleanor Prystae, Lily Prystae; sisters, Tracey O'Neil (nee MacFie), Dianne MacFie; nephew, Derrick Lewis; niece, Brittany MacFie; as well as numerous extended family, an abundance of dear friends, and her last loved fur baby, Diesal.

Sandra was born in Barrie, Ontario and was fondly remembered to be a 'tom boy' as a child. Her family moved to British Columbia where Sandy attended high school. In Surrey, B.C. Sandra met the love of her life Chris, and they were married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993. Chris settled into a career in the oil and gas industry and that brought the couple to Alberta where they spent many happy years.

Sandra especially enjoyed gardening and design. Her and Chris travelled extensively during the winter months through Mexico, Cuba and South America; Sandra loved the warmer climates. Sandra and Chris eventually made a second home in La Paz, Mexico and she was looking forward to spending more time there.

At Sandra's request there will be no immediate service.

A special thanks to Wilson's Funeral Chapel in Lacombe. Memorial donations can be made directly to the S.P.C.A.
