Sharon Francis (Raven) Fridd

1949 - 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Sharon Francis Fridd (Raven) announce her peaceful passing at the age of 74 on November 15, 2023 at her home in Lacombe.

Sharon is survived by her loving children; Daryl (Diana) Fridd, Cheryl (Scott) Van De Voorde, grandsons Thomas and Quinten Fridd. She is also survived by her sister Elaine (Rick) Brooks as well as numerous nieces & nephews and many special friends she considered family.

Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Charles and her sisters, Darlene and Gayle (Chomyshen).

Sharon's circle was extensive and she was graced with many meaningful relationships. A lifelong love of sewing and quilting threads through her life, holding so many great memories and connections with her dear friends. Her quilts and other sewing projects are spread far and wide and are treasured by all. Sewing was a passion for Sharon and she was always willing to help someone with any sewing project or visiting a quilt shop! Quilting retreats were one of the recurring highlights for her and sewing brought her immense joy and contentment.

A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November. 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
