With great sadness in our hearts, we regretfully announce that on December 8, 2021, our beloved Sheila Eveline Apostal died unexpected at her home in Spruce Grove, Alberta. She was just 68 years old.

Sheila was predeceased by her father Fred (Dec. 1998), mother Eveline (May. 2011), two brothers Robert (Sept. 2002) and Allan (Nov. 1992), her sister Shirley (June. 2015) and her beloved son Robert Chamney (May. 2010).

Sheila is survived by her loving husband Dale Apostal of 35 years; her daughters Angela (Sebastian)Leeking, Amy Sebastian and Leissa Apostal. Sheila was blessed with a large family who all loved her dearly, including 8 grandchildren: Brittany Schmidt (Jesse); Christian Sebastian; Kane Schmidt (Karli); Chance Schmidt; Payden Sebastian (Carson); Leigha Sebastian; Michaela Leeking and Jayden Armitage; 4 great-grandchildren: Riley; Haven; Aubrie and Harlow, her brother Fred McVittie; sister Ann Hanson; brother in law Art Gordon, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Sheila became a Licensed Practical Nurse at 22 years old and worked in the field for over 25 years. Nursing was her passion, touching people's lives and hearts everywhere she went. She loved playing the organ or her accordion, rainy summer nights. camping and spending time with her family.

She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. We will await the day that we get to see her again.
