Susan Hattie (Willis) Johnson

Mrs. Susan Johnson of Lacombe, AB passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the age of 92 years.

Susan was predeceased by her loving husband, Sandy Johnson.  She is survived by her sons, Lynn, Dale, Lochie and Dan, and their families, as well as extended family and friends

Susan was born in Cochrane, ON, daughter to Mabel and Roddy Willis.  She was the eldest of five children.  In her early years she was raised in the Haynes, AB area and later the family moved to Lacombe, where she met Sandy Johnson.  They were married on August 4, 1948.

Mom was a homemaker, helped in the family business and was employed for many years at the Lacombe Nursing Home before retiring.  Susan and Sandy enjoyed many of their retirement years camping, travelling, golfing and just going out to the local restaurants to dine or have a coffee and socialize with friends and family.  Susan liked many creative activities and enjoyed reading.  She was quick to search for bookstores, craft stores, and antique stores on her travels.

Mom was a kind and thoughtful person.  She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.

No funeral services will be held.
