Susan Marlene (Pierson) Schafer

Mrs. Susan Schafer of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. at the age of 70.

Susan will be remembered by her devoted husband of 52 years, Dennis; their loving children Roy (Joanne), Deana (Tim) and Stacey (Craig).  Grandchildren; David (Leanne), Jennifer (Barry), Michelle, Emma (Justyn), Rebecca, Andrew, Melissa, Nicholas, and Dennis. Great Grandchildren; Abigail, Rachel, Emilia, Zackary, Josie, Olivia, Jacob, Warner, baby girl arriving early 2023.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to you, the doctors, nurses and all the staff at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre for your tireless care and compassion, for keeping her smiling even on the hardest days. This time has not been without tears and heartache. We needed each one of you throughout her journey and we are forever grateful.

A Memorial Service to honor Susan will be December 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bluffton Hall with a lunch to follow.
