Susan Laura (Parsons) Meston

1957 - 2020

Susan “Parsons” Meston beloved wife of Calvin Meston of Tees, AB passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the U of A hospital in Edmonton on March 2nd at the age of 62.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years ; her sons Cody (Tanya), Justin (Heather), daughter Crystal (Rob), 8 grandchildren, mother Jean, brothers Graham (Roxanne), Les (Sarah), Don, brother-in-law Wade (Johanne), sister-in-law Margret and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  She is predeceased by her father John, step father Bob, father-in-law Bill, Mother-in-law Helen, Sister-in-law Agnus, and brother-in-law Reg.

Susan grew up ranching and rodeoing in the Tees area.  She worked many years at the research station and in partnership with her father at Parsons Tours.  Susan loved gardening, looking after her birds, and enjoying coffee with friends and family.  Susan was always excited to see and spend time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the many hardworking teams at the U of A hospital who took part in Susan’s care.  In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Susan’s honour to the U of A hospital, https://www.universityhospitalfoundation.ab.ca/donatenow  or a charity of the donor’s choice.

A Celebration of Susan's Life will take place on Friday, March 13th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lacombe Memorial Centre, 5214 - 50 Ave, Lacombe.
