It is with great sadness that the family of John Tenbrinke announces the unexpected passing of Teresa Tenbrinke at the age of 62.
Teresa is survived by her devoted husband John, daughters Janeen (Tyler Guppy, Logan, Aliyah, and Seth), Melanie (Rick Wildeboer, Hailey, Brooklyn, and Mikenna), Melissa (Gary Kuipers, Hannah, Daniel, and Jordan), Kristin (Brad Westervelt, William, Luke, Leo, Jake), and son Tyler Tenbrinke (Shalynn and unborn grandchild number 14). Teresa also leaves behind a large extended family and an abundance of friends.
Mom was adventurous and bursting with life. She was quick to laugh and always up for anything fun. She was warm and welcoming to ALL. If she wasn’t on the golf course you could find her volunteering at the thrift store, running errands for her kids, or watching numerous grandchildren’s sporting events. Her grandkids could always find her passing out candy, hugs, and encouragement. Mom showed tremendous love and devotion towards her husband and family, many friends, but above all to the Lord.
Mom’s most recent shared post sums up her steadfast faith best:
‘If God gives you a few more years, remember it is not yours.
Your time must honour God,
your home must honour God,
and everything you do must honour God.’
A.W. Tozer
Well done, good and faithful servant.
