It is with great sadness that the family of William Kenneth “Ken” Harris of Rimbey (Formerly of Bluffton) announce his passing on April 10, 2026 at Rimbey, Alberta at the age of 89 years, from cancer.

Ken was predeceased by baby Leah (1970), son William “Bill” (2018), grandson Christopher (2022), and son-in-law Jack (2023).

Ken was born on September 19, 1936 in Mannville, Alberta. He was the second youngest of eight children. His siblings Martha, Eileen, Bernice, Earl “Skip,” Joyce, George(Sonny) and Edith have all predeceased him.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Norma and their children Jane, Robyn (Jim), Tim (Deana) and Paula. Ken has 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Ken also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.

In July of 2025 Ken and Norma moved from their home in Bluffton to the Rimbey Valley View Manor. Ken enjoyed his life at the Manor where he made many friends with both the residents and staff.

The family of Ken deeply appreciate the care given to him at the Rimbey Hospital and the Kindness shown to Norma throughout this time.

A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 2:30 pm at the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church.
